Project Description
Residential development comprising two blocks of terraced dwellings arranged over two and three storeys, constructed using loadbearing timber-frame construction. The structural system consists of timber-frame external and internal walls supporting the floor and roof structures, with lateral stability provided by timber-frame racking walls. Vertical and horizontal loads are transferred through the superstructure to the foundations. The design was undertaken in accordance with UK Building Regulations and relevant Eurocodes.
